Outdoor Gear

We provide full rain and snow gear, including snowsuits, boots, and mittens for all weather up until school age. School age children are expected to bring their own rain & snow gear as needed.

Required Gear

Winter

  • Wool socks - Smartwool, Darn Tough

  • Base Layer - A merino wool layer. We require children to come to school dressed in this in the morning

  • Mid Layer - These can be found as fleece sets on our outdoor page

  • Puffer Jacket - These will be used for layering underneath our provided snow suits in sub-zero temperatures

  • Warm Hat - This must fit the child by covering the ears comfortably

  • Neck Warmer - We have these linked in our outdoor shop. We recommend the brand Turtle Fur

Spring/Fall

  • Closed Toe Shoes - We have a variety of options in our outdoor shop

  • Comfortable clothing - Long sleeves and pants are preferred as long as the weather allows it. This helps protect from bugs and the sun

  • Mid Layer - These can be found as fleece sets on our outdoor page

  • Warm Hat - This may be needed for cooler days

Summer
